Meghan is a therapist for couples and young women in Orange County.

Family therapy that actually feels good.

Your family is the most important thing to you. But lately, things have felt tense. The more you try to connect, the more they pull away. You're left feeling confused, scared, and helpless. You long for when they were younger and life felt easier. You just want your kid back. Family therapy can help clear what's blocking connection, so you can get back to what you do best -- being together.

Seeking support doesn't mean you have failed as a parent. It means that you care enough to acknowledge something isn't right. You're brave enough to work towards something better and invested enough to show up vulnerably.

If your family has gone from joyful and connected to strained and disjointed, I’m here to help.

Teens Who've Pulled Away

Has your teen been spending more time in their room?  Do they seem totally disengaged from your family? When you ask "is everything okay?" they roll their eyes and push you further away.  If you're worried something is going on, I can work with your teen to understand what's blocking them from opening up.

Divorce & Blended Families

You've made the difficult decision to proceed with a divorce, but you don't know how to tell your kids, and you're worried about what the impact on them will be. A divorce will always be hard, but the impact can be mitigated by the way you talk to your kids about it and the type of support they receive to process it.

Arguing & Acting Out

You're not sure what's going on with your kid lately. They've been staying out late, acting recklessly, and behaving in a way that makes you feel scared for their safety. You're terrified, and when you talk to them about it, they brush it off like nothing's wrong. You're losing sleep and you need outside support.

Please share as much or as little as you would like about what has been happening in your family and why you are seeking therapy at this time. I'll reach out within one business day to set up a time to talk on the phone and discuss how I can help.
